Randall’s Island Wetlands Tour (Icahn Stadium)-October 16, 2010 at 10am

Please join us on a tour of the Randall’s Island salt marsh and freshwater wetlands. This 8 acre complex, restored in 2008, offers visitors a chance to view the local flora and fauna found in these unique ecosystems. Tours will begin and end at Icahn Stadium. Meet at the north entrance ticket and administration booth at 10am.

Tours last approximately 1.5 hours. Please wear comfortable walking shoes.

NYC Dept. of Transportation has informed us that the 103rd Street Pedestrian Bridge shall be closed starting Oct. 31, 2011 due to construction. The bridge is scheduled to re-open early summer 2012.
