The 2010 New York Relays started off with a bang and exciting races across the board.  The first final of the day started things off with a new meet record and stadium record in the 400m Hurdles by Dortine Jacobs from Newburgh High School running 59.60 to edge out second place Donna Jeanty who finished at 1:00.60.  The next final of the day again set two new records with Michael Coogan running an impressive 6:18.73 in the 2000m steeplechase to take the gold by 10 seconds.  Another huge mid season run came from Emily Lipari  in the girls 3000m running a blistering 9:46.74 to take both records and also claim the #1 spot in the united states.   The last highlights of the day came from Chamique Francis of Cardoza breaking the meet recors running 24.44 in the 200m trials.  Francis’s teammate Ahtyana Johnson also surpassed the meet record running 25.01 to move into finals as the second fastest seed.

Day two of the 2010 New York Relays picked up from where Friday left off.  Five individuals broke meet and stadium records;
