SUMMARY:Jesse Owens Track & Field Youth Program
DESCRIPTION:The Randall’s Island Park Alliance\, in partnership with City Parks Foundation\, continues to offer the Jesse Owens Track and Field Youth Program! This free\, weekly track & field youth program is available to youth ages 8-16 and enables participants to learn the fundamentals of the sport and stay active. Activities will focus on running techniques for sprints and relays and will introduce other track and field activities like long jump\, hurdles\, and long-distance running. \nRegistration is required on LeagueApps with City Parks Foundation. \nChanges to note: Age range is now 8-16 years old. DESCRIPTION:The Randall’s Island Park Alliance is excited to welcome you to a queer cocktail night — an evening of farm-fresh cocktails and mocktails\, plant-based hors d’oeuvres\, nature crafts and activities\, and a drag performance\, all taking place on the Urban Farm! The first 150 participants will receive a free drink ticket. Additional drinks are available for purchase. This program will uplift our LGBTQIA+ community members and partners. Members of the LGBTQIA+ community and allies are welcome.
