SUMMARY:Riverkeeper Sweep
DESCRIPTION:Join other concerned members of your community and thousands area-wide\, collecting\, and removing marine plastics and litter from our shores. Riverkeeper is committed to making and keeping the Hudson and its tributaries free of trash. \nWe will meet at Icahn Stadium and spread out into our marshes and along the shoreline\, collecting trash\, keeping data\, and measuring our total impact. Annually volunteers remove hundreds of pounds of litter and plastics from our shores\, getting them out of our water system permanently. \nLearn more about the Riverkeeper Sweep here. \nUnaccompanied minors 16 to 17 years old must bring a Waiver of Liability signed by their pareint or guardian and turned in at registration. DESCRIPTION:Join the Randall’s Island Park Alliance and City Parks Foundation for the Jesse Owens Track and Field Youth Program! This free weekly program is available to youth ages 8-16 and enables participants to learn the fundamentals of the sport and stay active.
