SUMMARY:International Coastal Cleanup
DESCRIPTION:International Coastal Clean Up is an annual event that helps us keep our shoreline free of marine plastics and refuse! \n\n\n\nAnnual Coastal Shoreline cleanup for the community to help keep our waters free of marine microplastics and litter. \n  \n\n\n\n\nJoin members from the community and different partners for our annual coastal cleanup with the Randall’s Island Park Alliance and the Ocean Conservancy. With miles of rocky coastline\, Randall’s Island Park can always use a hand removing marine plastics\, microplastics and litter that gather between the rocks and in our marshes. \n  \nMeeting at Icahn Stadium\, volunteers will be sent to various places on the island to collect and record what they have removed from the island. Last year volunteers collected more than 500 lbs of litter and plastics permanently removing them from our water systems. \n\n\n\nRegistration is required here. \nLocation: Meet at Icahn Stadium \nFor inquiries about accessibility\, to request an accommodation or for event information\, please email publicprograms@randallsisland.org.

SUMMARY:2026 Jesse Owens Track & Field Youth Program - Fall
DESCRIPTION:Join the Randall’s Island Park Alliance and City Parks Foundation for the Jesse Owens Track and Field Youth Program! This free weekly program is available to youth ages 8-16 and enables participants to learn the fundamentals of the sport and stay active.
