Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully.

Bike Ride to the Harvest Festival

Join our partners El Barrio Bikes for a fun-filled Ride to the Randall’s Island Harvest Festival! Meet us at the Citi Bike Station at Park Avenue and 124th Street (by the Metro North) to bike over together. We’ll start with a ride through of Uptown Grand Central‘s Party on Park street festival before heading to Randall’s Island. On the way we’ll enjoy views of the gardens, Urban Farm, and wetlands! All ages and abilities are welcome. We will ride roughly four to six miles at a conversational pace, primarily on bike and pedestrian paths.
We are able to provide up to 30 free Citi Bikes for riders ages 16 and up thanks to the support of Lyft and the Brown Bike Girl. In order to secure a free Citi Bike, please email [email protected].
