Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully.

Bike Tour (ending at Big Truck Day)!

Join RIPA and El Barrio Bikes for a fun free bike tour of the park ending at Icahn Stadium at the Big Truck Day event! Please be sure to bring a helmet and water for the tour. All ages and abilities are welcome. We will be riding along the water, over the 103rd St. Bridge, through the park roughly four to six miles at a conversational pace primarily on bike and pedestrian paths.
