Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. Boogie Down Storytime

Boogie Down Storytime is a family-friendly experience that cultivates early literacy awareness through joyful reading experiences. Join us for an interactive story hour that incorporates mindful breathing, which helps build social-emotional skills, along with question and discussion activities that build community. Movement will be inspired by the week’s book selection led by a children’s yoga teacher. Hosted by Boogie Down Books.
