DESCRIPTION:Kick off the summer season at Randall’s Island Park with an evening of fireworks and fun with special evening Open Hours at our Urban Farm! Join us for self-guided exploration\, discover a variety of fruits and vegetables\, an active composting system\, and a Tot Lot designed for our youngest friends before the Astoria Park fireworks display at dusk (fireworks courtesy of Central Astoria\, LDC). Relax afterward with a front row seat for the fireworks. \nTake a bite of Chef Ben’s Tangy Kale Slaw made with produce grown on the Urban Farm and learn how to recreate the recipe at home.
