Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Cherry Blossom and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully.

City of Water Day

Did you know NYC hosts nearly 600 miles of coastline? Join us in your backyard at the foot of the 103rd Street Bridge on July 15th . We will have displays, games, and crafts celebrating the incredible waters that surround us. We will have information about healthy fishing in NYC, wild animals that call the Island home, and the history of our park which was originally made up of three separate islands.
