Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully.

Dance Party NYC

RIPA is proud to be a part of Dance Party NYC on Saturday, August 6. One day, five boroughs, more than 80 venues across the city—Dance Party NYC is a joyous citywide festival of music and movement! We’re trying to get out as many New Yorkers as possible and create the biggest dance party in New York City history.
