Great Fish Count

August 13, 2016 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Join us as we participate with organizations throughout the Hudson River from Albany to Staten Island to record the many underwater species that call the river home. Strap on waders and dip nets to explore the Little Hell Gate Salt Marsh with educators from the Natural Areas team on Randall’s Island and the Hudson River Estuary Program. This family friendly, hands-on event allows participants an up-close and personal look at the “the river that flows two ways”. All of the data we collect will be shared with our partners to paint a clearer picture of the incredible life that thrives in the Hudson River Estuary.

All ages and experience levels are welcome to join. All materials are provided.
