Randall’s Island Park has a rich history of hosting cultural events and continues to do so today. Throughout the year, RIPA provides numerous free drop-in programs such as walking tours, movie nights, waterfront activities and our annual Cherry Blossom and Harvest Festivals. In addition, large special events, produced by independent organizations other than the City and RIPA, offer visitors a great variety of exciting options – continuing the Island’s strong tradition as a central entertainment venue for New York City.

Each fall RIPA’s annual Harvest Festival celebrates the bounty of the earth and the completion of another fruitful season at the Urban Farm. Enjoy live music, face painting, self-guided tours of the Urban Farm and more fun fall activities!
We are excited to announce that we will have a Randall’s Island Chef Showdown at the Harvest Festival! Three local chefs will take on the ultimate challenge. Using ingredients from the Urban Farm, these innovative and talented chefs will create a healthy and tasty meal in just 45 minutes! Join us as we see these master chefs compete to become the Randall’s Island Chef Champion!
