Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully.

Harvest Festival
October 1 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Join the Randall’s Island Park Alliance for a free, family-friendly celebration of fall at our Harvest Festival! Have your face painted and go gourd bowling while listening to live music by Pete Nater & Associates. Create a painting guided by a local artist and participate in a cooking demonstration with freshly harvested ingredients from the farm. Enjoy our new interactive pumpkin patch and choose your own pumpkin to decorate and take home! We’ll have many more nature activities, games, and free and paid treats and food.
