Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully.

Indigenous People Celebration
October 8, 2018 @ 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
This is a celebration of Native American Culture through song,dance, works of art, food and more! Free admission.
Sunday, October 7. 11am -5pm Performances, vendors, music, song and dance.
Monday, October 8. 7am – 4pm Sunrise ceremony at 7am. Music, spoken word, artists, guest speakers, song and dance.
