Due to COVID-19 all in-person programs are suspended until further notice. Please continue to check the RIPA website for updates.
Randall’s Island Park has a rich history of hosting cultural events and continues to do so today. Throughout the year, RIPA provides numerous free drop-in programs such as walking tours, movie nights, waterfront activities and our annual Cherry Blossom and Harvest Festivals. In addition, large special events, produced by independent organizations other than the City and RIPA, offer visitors a great variety of exciting options – continuing the Island’s strong tradition as a central entertainment venue for New York City.
RIPA hosts over 300 free public events each year. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. For additional information contact our Public Programs team at firstname.lastname@example.org.

International Coastal Clean Up Day
September 21, 2019 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm
Help us celebrate National Estuaries Week by joining us for the International Coastal Clean Up. Last year, nearly 800,000 people from over 100 countries around the world helped to clean up their shorelines and record their findings. Everything we gather on Randall’s Island will contribute to a better understanding of what types of trash end up in our oceans and remove them from our waterways. Help us keep our waters clean for wildlife, ourselves, and the next generation!
Location: Icahn Stadium, East Entrance
