Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully.

Jane’s Walk Tour

Fittingly located in the heart of New York City, and nestled between Manhattan, Queens, and the Bronx, Randall’s Island holds within it a host of city agencies, infrastructure, and institutions that make the city work! Come on a tour of this unique and beautiful place, and get a historical overview and current framework for the Island. Beyond the history and overview of facilities on the Island, tour goers will become acquainted with one more resource the Island offers- the park itself! Randall’s Island has green space, pathways, ball fields, and free events and programs for visitors enjoy!
