Guided by a beloved\, local yoga instructor\, participants will flow through a calming and grounding sequence against the backdrop of the uptown skyline. All levels and abilities are welcome. Bring a friend\, family member or two\, or your yoga-loving pet! \nNo registration required—just show up ready to move! We’ll have water and a limited number of mats available to borrow\, so please bring your own if possible or show up early to claim one. \nOur free yoga classes run weekly on Tuesdays from 6:30 – 7:30pm from May 6 – September 9 (no class June 10)\, and Saturdays from 10:00 – 11:00am\, June 28 – August 30. DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, August 28th\, Icahn Stadium is proud to host The Open Invite Powered by On\, a team scored 5000m race with check-in time called for 5:30 PM and the race beginning at 7:00 PM. \nThe Open Invite is a team scored\, cross-country style race with prizes up for grabs. Runners with their different teams of three will each race a 5k competing against other teams\, and the team with the lowest score wins (1st place = 1 point\, 2nd = 2 points). \nWinners of the team category will receive: \n\nAn On Cargo Bag\nOn Performance T-Shirt/Tank top\nOn Race Cap\nOn Performance Socks\n\nThe fastest shoes from On will be available to demo during and after the race and once the race is finished there will be refreshments and a brief awards ceremony to celebrate the winning teams. \nRegister for the event here! \nLocation: Icahn Stadium

DESCRIPTION:Come see Flotsam River Circus on Randall’s Island on Saturday\, Sept. 13th\, and Sunday Sep. 14!\n\nFlotsam is a troupe of musicians\, circus artists\, and puppeteers traveling on a handmade raft\, giving free performances in waterfront towns along the way.\n\nThey’ll be performing at the SW side of the Island\, right by the Ward’s Island Pedestrian Bridge. Just look for the most unusual ‘boat’ on the water — that’s us!\n\nOur show is family-friendly but intended for audiences of all ages. The performance starts at 6:00 pm and will be finished before 7:30. Bring a blanket or lawn chair\, and come early for a good spot!\n\nThe show is free to attend\, but we keep this crazy project afloat through donations.
