DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, August 28th\, Icahn Stadium is proud to host The Open Invite Powered by On\, a team scored 5000m race with check-in time called for 5:30 PM and the race beginning at 7:00 PM. \nThe Open Invite is a team scored\, cross-country style race with prizes up for grabs. DESCRIPTION:Come see Flotsam River Circus on Randall’s Island on Saturday\, Sept. 13th\, and Sunday Sep. 14!\n\nFlotsam is a troupe of musicians\, circus artists\, and puppeteers traveling on a handmade raft\, giving free performances in waterfront towns along the way.\n\nThey’ll be performing at the SW side of the Island\, right by the Ward’s Island Pedestrian Bridge. Just look for the most unusual ‘boat’ on the water — that’s us!\n\nOur show is family-friendly but intended for audiences of all ages. The performance starts at 6:00 pm and will be finished before 7:30. Bring a blanket or lawn chair\, and come early for a good spot!\n\nThe show is free to attend\, but we keep this crazy project afloat through donations.
