Randall’s Island Park has a rich history of hosting cultural events and continues to do so today. Throughout the year, RIPA provides numerous free drop-in programs such as walking tours, movie nights, waterfront activities and our annual Cherry Blossom and Harvest Festivals. In addition, large special events, produced by independent organizations other than the City and RIPA, offer visitors a great variety of exciting options – continuing the Island’s strong tradition as a central entertainment venue for New York City.

Open Track Night
June 20 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Icahn Stadium is open to the public for Open Track Night. Come to this free event for the opportunity to train like an Olympian!
Power Stretch Studios will be on site at Open Track Night with stretching tips known as the Kikka Method. They will be explaining the benefits this method of assisted stretching that focuses on tension release and relaxation. It’s extremely beneficial to runners. Added bonus: they will be giving out free water bottles. Join us!
