Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully.

Pokemon Go Fest

August 18 - August 20

Pokemon GO Fest is coming to Randall’s Island Park! Attendees will spend half their day at Randall’s Island Park enjoying glittering gameplay, beautiful bonuses, and hidden surprises as they adventure alongside thousands of fellow Trainers! The other half of the day will be spent exploring the larger New York City area.
