Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully.

Winter Fun – Snowshoeing!
February 1, 2022 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Join us for an afternoon of fun in the snow! We will have snowshoeing – available for children, hot chocolate and more! This is a free event.
Please Note: Most of our snowshoes will fit children between the ages of 6-15. Adults are welcome to join if they feel they can do so comfortably without snowshoes.
Location: base of the 103rd Street Footbridge
