Randall’s Island Park has a rich history of hosting cultural events and continues to do so today. Throughout the year, RIPA provides numerous free drop-in programs such as walking tours, movie nights, waterfront activities and our annual Cherry Blossom and Harvest Festivals. In addition, large special events, produced by independent organizations other than the City and RIPA, offer visitors a great variety of exciting options – continuing the Island’s strong tradition as a central entertainment venue for New York City.

Urban Farm Exploration Day & Special Workshop – Infused Oils

Join us for one of our special workshop classes about Infused Oils! Erica Harte, an Urban Farmer and Educator on staff at the Randall’s Island Urban Farm, will explore the many uses for herbs and medicinal plants. Come learn about some kitchen herbs you may recognize and medicinal plants you may not. Erica will discuss how we can use those herbs and plants to make delicious and powerful oil infusions to use in our cooking or for wellness care. Get your hands dirty making your own infusion and discover the many benefits!
