Randall’s Island Park has a rich history of hosting cultural events and continues to do so today. Throughout the year, RIPA provides numerous free drop-in programs such as walking tours, movie nights, waterfront activities and our annual Cherry Blossom and Harvest Festivals. In addition, large special events, produced by independent organizations other than the City and RIPA, offer visitors a great variety of exciting options – continuing the Island’s strong tradition as a central entertainment venue for New York City.

Volunteer with our team to manage our one-acre Urban Farm!
Whether you are new to our Farm or have been a tried-and-true weekly volunteer, come and join us for the morning or just for an hour. No registration needed. All ages welcome. Anyone under the age of 16yo must be accompanied by an adult who volunteers with them. Ages 16 & 17 can volunteer if a parent or guardian has signed a waiver.
