Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully.

Waterfront Bike Ride to Fungus Festival
October 15 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
Join us for an adventure at the Waterfront Ride to Fungus Festival on Randall’s Island! We will ride roughly 6 miles along the uptown waterfront and visit the second Annual Fungus Festival hosted by the New York Mycological Society in Partnership with Randall’s Island Park Alliance!
Whether you’re a excited about cycling, the waterfront, or fungi this ride promises to be a fungi-filled adventure. Thanks to support from Uptown Grand Central and Lyft, we are able to provide up to 30 free Citi Bikes to riders who are 16 and older. To reserve a Citi Bike, please email [email protected].
