Jerome Goldman (“Jerry”) retired from his role as a senior partner at Ernst & Young, LLP in 2011. He joined the Board of Trustees of Randall’s Island Park in 2002 and was its Co-Chair from 2011 to 2019. He also serves on RIPA’s audit and programming committees. Under Jerry and his Co-Chair’s leadership, RIPA developed and implemented a 3-year strategic plan to increase outreach, broaden support, expand volunteerism, improve access and develop creative Park programming.
Jerry’s philanthropic interests focus on programs that enrich education and expand sports and cultural opportunities for low-income children and youth. He currently sits on the Board of Areté, a nonprofit organization that offers expanded day and summer programs, and volunteers as a substitute teacher and baseball coach at Middle School 233 “The Laboratory School of Finance and Technology” in the South Bronx. He serves on the Dyson School Business Council at Cornell University where he helped establish the Endowment for Accounting Excellence. He has served as a trustee of the Board of the Museum of the Moving Image, the Martha Graham Dance Company and the Mamaroneck Schools Foundation.
Jerry resides on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with his wife Mary. They have two sons, two daughters in law and two grandchildren.
He is a graduate of Cornell University (BA, Economics) and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (MBA).
