
Richard Gross has been on the Randall’s Island Park Alliance’s Board of Trustees and its Executive Committee since 1999, serving as Secretary for the last 22 years and as Treasurer for 15 years.
Richard is a lawyer and a consultant with over 40 years of professional experience in the financial services industry. This includes serving for over 10 years as the chief legal officer and a senior executive at two NYSE-listed financial institutions and, prior to that, nine years as a senior lawyer in several positions at Citibank. Most recently, Richard served for 12 years on the Boards of the open-end funds and the registered funds of hedge funds in the complex advised by a leading independent alternative asset management firm. Richard began his legal career on Wall Street as a corporate attorney with White & Case.
Richard is licensed to practice law in New York and in Illinois (retired status). He is a graduate of the Harvard Law School and the University of California, Berkeley, and was a postdoctoral student in international law at Trinity College, Cambridge University, in England.
