Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Cherry Blossom and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully.

Find out more »National Pollinator Week Nature Sketching
Join us on Randall’s Island and we will introduce you to some wonderful places to observe and sketch nature. Interested in starting a nature journal; we will have journals to help you start your journey. No experience needed and all are welcome. Recommended 12+ Bring your own drawing instruments (colored pencils, paints, pens) but only a pencil is needed, and we’ll supply the inspiration. Date: June 25th at 6:30pm Location: Little Hell Gate Wildflower Meadow by the bench.
