Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Cherry Blossom and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully.

Island Community Clean Up Day

Celebrate the 36th annual International Coastal Clean-Up with the Randall's Island Natural Areas team. We will be getting up close and personal with the island’s 4.5 miles of coastline and restored wetlands. Volunteers will help remove plastics and other marine debris as part of the Ocean Conservancy’s #Trashfreewaters campaign.
