Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully.

This hands-on and interactive workshop will cover the basics of cut flower growing and sustainable floral arranging. Join farmer and florist Cassandra Cronin from Run Rig Farm Project in harvesting and arranging flowers straight from the farm and leave with a lovely arrangement or two you've created yourself. While working, discussion will center around the edible, medicinal, and ecological properties of the flowers, herbs, and foliage used in the arrangements.
