The Randall’s Island Fields Fund:
The fields at Randall’s Island Park are the lifeblood of the Randall’s Island Park Alliance’s mission to provide safe, green open spaces for all New Yorkers, and are enjoyed by over a million children each year. The Alliance receives no funding from the City towards their maintenance; we rely on the support of contributors to care for the island’s 330 acres of parkland, which includes over 60 fields.
At a moment when playing time is more valuable than ever, the Alliance is excited to share a special opportunity to contribute to our newly-formed Fields Fund, to help ensure that the playing fields of Randall’s Island can provide as many hours as possible, with the potential of more hours. Your committed support of this Fund will enable the Alliance to plan for long-term preservation and restoration of the park’s beloved fields, so that millions more children can enjoy them for years to come.
