New Pedestrian Walkway
The New Southern Pedestrian Ramp is Open!
Exciting news! The MTA Bridges & Tunnels’ new southern pedestrian ramp to Randall’s Island Park along the RFK/Triborough Bridge is finally open! The route provides more appealing, safer, more visible, ADA-accessible access between 124th Street in Manhattan and the island, sweeping out from the bridge to land along the waterfront by the park’s ferry dock. Whether you’re walking, cycling, or using a wheelchair, this ramp makes getting to the park easier than ever and creates stronger and greener connections in our city. The Living Shoreline shared-use path and the picnic area will be open as well. One more reason to be thankful this season. Hope to see you at the park soon!
