Picnic & BBQ Areas

• Permits allow you to have a large (over 20 people) gathering in the park.
• Permits do not guarantee exclusive use of a space or use of grills of picnic tables in an area.
• Grills, tables and other picnic spaces are on a first come, first serve basis.
• Amplified sound requires an NYPD Sound Permit which can be obtained from the NYPD’s 25^th Precinct.
• There should be NO vehicles on the grass at any time – even for set up. Please make sure all vehicles are parked in legal parking spaces.
• There should be no set up or open flames near or under the drip lines of trees.

• Please do not attach anything to trees.
• No alcohol or glass bottles are allowed in the park.
• Please dispose of all hot coals in the red marked containers.
• Please DO NOT dump hot coals on the ground or at the foot of trees.
