Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully.

Urban Farm Volunteers
Volunteer with our team to manage our one-acre Urban Farm! Whether you are new to our Farm or have been a tried-and-true weekly volunteer, come and join us on the Farm. No registration required. Wildlife Celebration
Do you enjoy learning about creatures of the wild? Join us in welcoming Bobby Horvath, Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator, and his furry, feathered, and scaly friends from Wildlife In Need of Rescue and Rehabilitation (WINORR) for an up-close meet and greet! Jesse Owens Track and Field Youth Program
The Randall's Island Park Alliance, in partnership with City Parks Foundation, continues to offer the Jesse Owens Track and Field Youth Program! This free weekly track & field youth program is available to youth ages 8-16 and enables participants to learn the fundamentals of the sport and stay active. Join the RIPA team for a program merging volunteering with public awareness and building community.
