Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully. Kick off the summer season on the Island! Enjoy evening of dancing, games, crafts, and music before the Astoria Park fireworks display at sundown (fireworks courtesy of Central Astoria, LDC). Relax afterward with the fireworks show taking place at sundown.
- 6 – 9 PM: Lawn games
- 6:30 – 7:30 PM: Live Performance of the Steel Pan by DoMo
- 7:30 – 8:30 PM: Caribbean Dance Class with Sweet Water Dance & Yoga
- 9 PM: Fireworks
