Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. ATHLOS NYC is the first women’s-only professional track and field competition and is blazing a trail forward in the sport. At the intersection of music, sport, and culture, ATHLOS brings together the most electrifying women in track & field competing for record-breaking prizes—plus a live musical performance—for an unforgettable night in the heart of New York City.
In addition to the purse, all participating athletes benefit from our giveback program, which redistributes 10% of ticket, sponsorship, and broadcast revenue directly to the field—cementing ATHLOS as the most rewarding women’s track-only event in history.
Prepare for an elite lineup of women athletes—including Olympic medalists Gabby Thomas, Tara Davis-Woodhall, Keely Hodgkinson, Melissa Jefferson-Wooden, Masai Russell, Marileidy Paulino, Jasmine Camacho-Quinn, and Brittany Brown—all ready to put on a show to remember this October.
