Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. Drag Story Hour

Join the Randall’s Island Park Alliance for Bilingual storytelling with Drag Story Hour NYC presented in Spanish and English. A local drag performer trained by children’s librarians will read picture books in both languages, sing songs, do movement activities, and provide an age-appropriate introduction to the concept of drag as a form of dress-up and play. The program is geared toward ages 3-8.
