Randall’s Island Events
Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully. Live & Local Art Pop-Up Volunteers

Join the Randall’s Island Park Alliance for a vibrant, free celebration of art and creativity at the second annual Live & Local Art Pop-Up! We’re excited to bring back an immersive art experience in which local artists will create live before our eyes and showcase previously created pieces.
Stroll through and explore our Urban Farm as you engage with the nature-inspired artists. Choose your own journey by watching a live art demonstration, admiring finished pieces, and creating your own art.
Volunteers will aid in running the event, helping artists, crafts table and welcome table. Volunteers will also assist with some set up and take down and other duties as needed.
