Randall’s Island Events
Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully. Plant Swap @ Earth Day Festival
Leave a plant and take a plant at Earth Day Festival on Randall’s Island! Participants can make some friends, play with some soil, and bring home your own green friend at this fun, adult-friendly activity. We’ll provide soil to take home or for repotting and some small pots to plant propagations. We’ll provide a limited number of bonus plants for folks who aren’t able to bring one.
