Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully. Pressed Botanicals Workshop

Join us for a relaxing, creative workshop where you’ll learn how to press and arrange flowers and leaves to create beautiful works of art. This workshop is perfect for beginners and enthusiasts alike—no prior experience needed. We’ll provide all the materials you need, including a selection of plants, and guide you through the process of making your own unique piece of botanical art.
