Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully.

Pressed Botanicals Workshop

Join our Horticulture Team for a workshop on pressed botanicals! Learn the history and process of pressing flowers and create your own herbarium design with flowers picked and pressed from Randall’s Island’s own gardens. Hosted by the skilled Randall’s Island Horticulture Team, this hands-on experience promises a day of creativity, exploration, and learning.
