Randall’s Island Events
Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully. Salt Marsh Open Hours

Stop by the Little Hell Gate Salt Marsh on Saturday, April 27th between 1 and 3 PM to learn about the importance of these tidal wetlands, see some critters that make the salt marsh their home, and chat with RIPA’s Natural Areas Team. If you have the iNaturalist app on your phone, be sure to have that out as we will be documenting what we find as part of the City Nature Challenge 2024.
