Randall’s Island Events
Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully. Seed Packaging

Volunteers will package thousands of seeds to give away next season! Each growing season, the Urban Farm gives away hundreds of seed packets at its welcome table during weekend Open Hours. Seed packets are extremely popular with our visitors — so much so that it is hard to keep the table stocked.
This indoor activity will require volunteers to package and label seeds to give away to the public. Snacks, hot chocolate, and tea will be provided.
