Randall’s Island Events
Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully. Spotted Lanternfly Egg Hunt
April 12 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

It’s almost Spotted Lanternfly season at Randall’s Island Park which means that it’s time to learn about these insects and how to manage their populations at this free program! Learn how to identify and remove egg masses and help us squash as many eggs as possible both in the park and beyond. In between squash sessions, participants can keep warm with hot beverages and a bonfire, roast marshmallows, and explore Spotted Lanternfly fun facts with our Educators.
