Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 300 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully. Storytime Stretches at Urban Farm Open Hours

Get ready for an engaging Storytime experience at the Randall’s Island Urban Farm with beloved community member and literary expert, Jazy! Listen to Jazy deliver a thematic and beautifully illustrated children’s book followed by a movement session with family-friendly yoga, stretches, and mindfulness. Feel free to drop in for as long or short as the listeners’ energy allows! All ages and reading/listening abilities and languages are welcome–we will have English and Spanish-speakers facilitating.
