Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully. Something has changed…on our calendar! Join the Randall’s Island Park Alliance for an evening screening of the Academy Award-winning film Wicked!
Something bad happened on our initial movie night, which was rained out on June 14, but we are thrilled to offer June 29 as a replacement! We’re so happy we could melt!
So if you care to join us, look to the East River sky, as someone told us lately, everyone enjoys a movie outside!

Additionally, our Urban Farm will be open so trust your instincts, close your eyes, and leap into one of the most unique spaces in all of New York City.
