Earth Day Festival Returns to Randall's Island Park on April 26 (Weather Permitting)
The Randall’s Island Park Alliance (RIPA) will host its annual Earth Day Festival on April 26 at Randall’s Island Park from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM at the Urban Farm and Fields 62 & 63.
The event, which is celebrated at the culmination of Earth Week, offers a family-friendly, interactive day of fun to welcome the warmer months and seasonal blooms.
The original schedule for the Festival has been modified due to expected inclement weather.
“The Earth Day Festival is our spring kickoff for public programs here at the Randall’s Island Park Alliance,” said public programming manager Anna Kemeny. “It’s a celebration of spring, the park, sustainability and the Earth that we all share. I’ve lived in East Harlem for about a decade and Randall’s Island Park is my backyard and a beautiful urban green space.”
