Our Voice Was Heard!

For over six months, RIPA has tirelessly advocated for the removal of the HERRC and for this parkland to be returned to the public. Recently, the Mayor announced that the facility will be removed by February 28, 2025. The City has also promised to fund full restoration of the fields and adjacent areas. We look forward to working with NYC Parks to restore our wonderful park and once again have it used for its intended purpose. Thank you for your continued support!
