Randall’s Island Events

Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully. 2025 Jesse Owens Track & Field Youth Program – Fall

Event Series Event Series: Jesse Owens Track and Field Youth Program

Join the Randall’s Island Park Alliance and City Parks Foundation for the Jesse Owens Track & Field Youth Program! This free weekly program is available to youth ages 8-16 and enables participants to learn the fundamentals of the sport and stay active. Activities will focus on running techniques for springs and relays and will introduce other track and field activities like the long jump, hurdles, and long-distance running.

Registration is required on LeagueApps with City Parks Foundation(registration link to come)!
