Randall’s Island Events

Throughout the year, RIPA hosts over 200 free public events including tours, movie nights, waterfront activities, our annual Earth Day and Harvest Festivals and more. These family-friendly drop-in events play an integral role in helping Park visitors explore the Island’s varied points of interest. We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully. Bike Ride to Earth Day Festival

April 26 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Ride to Earth Day Festival with El Barrio Bikes! Meet up at Thomas Jefferson Park in Harlem and enjoy a scenic ride along the riverfront and through the park, ending at the Earth Day Festival!

Free Citi Bikes will be provided thanks to our partnership with Citi Bike, and we can offer a limited number of free helmets. In order to reserve a free bike and helmet, please email publicprograms@randallsisland.org.

Registration is required for this event; link coming soon.

After the festival, enjoy some time exploring the park’s 9+ miles of cyclist and pedestrian pathways!
